Tocks Island

Tocks Island, located upstream from Delaware Water Gap in the Delaware River was the controversial site of a dam, proposed in the 1950s, which would have created a 37 mile (60 km) long lake between Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with depths of up to 140 feet. Although the dam was never built, 72,000 acres (291 kmē) of land were acquired, which became the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

Satellite overview:

This is what appeared to be a two bedroom, one story house with a basement.
This is the living room, the biggest in the house.

Same room, out the window.

Same room, artwork peeling off the side of the wall.

The kitchen, out the windows.

The basement, it is open to the outside now, due to flooding collapsing one wall.

The Tavern.

There was even a small tavern here, this building was boarded up, and needed the persuasion of some folk we met who were also exploring the area.

The Fireplace.

Next to the bar.

The basement in the Tavern was absolutely disgusting. It had about two feet of mud, and what smelled like shit, for lack of a better term, inside.

Upstairs in the Tavern, there was a pickle jar in the stairwell. The light is my flashlight shining through it for 'lolartistic' effect.

The medicine cabinet in the bathroom, what is this thing?

One of the many rooms on the Tavern's third floor.

One, two, wait? Where's the third?

Same room, ceiling.

Gents Room.

The dual apartment house.

The garage @ ground level.

The kitchen.

The bathroom.

The childs room, the door in the picture leads nowhere.

The dead birds in the window, in the nextdoors kid's room. Again, the door leads nowhere now, apparently there used to be a fire escape.

My friend came up with 'Following the invisible man'. Somebody nailed these shoes to the stairs, in such a way that it looked as if someone was walking up them.

The sink in the bathroom. The toothbrush box was already here, and the toothbrush migrated downstairs to the hallway.

OLD Style medicine cabinet. There was a slot in olden medicine cabinets for old shaving razor blades to go. These razorblades merely fell into the space between a wall, no collection whatsoever. The opposite wall has been knocked out, hence the light.

The attic, this piece of machinery opened the attic window.

The huge houses Crop Reaper, in the garage. Looks like its seen better days.

Random metal chair in the open field. Garage with the tow truck in the distance, on the right.

The tow truck

Outside the tow truck garage, flywheels!

The last house, closest to the road.
The kitchen.

Huge, what looks to be a radio

Hole in the roof.

If you go, and look around, try to find the car hood with the writing on it, and write your first, your last, or a nickname and the year.
It has quite a list going
